The right outfit for every ceremony

As every year, with the arrival of spring is characterized by happy events. Indeed, it is the "season" of private events. Baptisms, confirmations, and especially weddings and even much events take place during this wonderful season. Those who are invited start to check if they have a suitable outfit in their wardrobe or if they need to go and purchase one.

Better be prepared

Attending a ceremony requires appropriate clothing, which must be elegant but not too flashy.

There are several factors to consider when choosing the right outfit for the occasion, such as the type of ceremony, the location where it takes place, what the weather will be like, but also one's personal style. Attention must also be paid to whether there are specific dress code instructions in the invitation.

As a general piece of advice for women, dresses with sequins or shiny fabrics may be suitable for an evening event, while for a ceremony, it is better to opt for lighter fabrics and softer colors; for men, dark colors like dark blue or gray are always an elegant and safe choice.

Family or less formal events

In the case of a less formal ceremony, such as a baptism or a communion, women can wear a short dress or a suit; pastel or bright colors can be chosen to give a touch of cheerfulness to the outfit, while for men, a dark suit or a suit without a tie is perfectly fine. If the ceremony is on the beach or outdoors, the suggestion is to choose light and comfortable fabrics, such as linen or cotton; a flowing dress or palazzo pants are perfect for women, while men can opt for a light suit without a tie or a simple shirt with trousers.

Be a part of the ceremony, dress perfectly 🙂

Let's talk now about witnesses and bridesmaids, who must absolutely find an outfit perfectly in line with the style chosen by the spouses.

For bridesmaids, the dress must be coordinated among them and with the theme of the wedding. Don’t, forget, the spotlight should be mainly focused on the bride. But,🙂 ..., anyway, that does not mean that you should be uggly and not pretty. No, no way🙂! As the best compromise, opt for the same model in different shades or for different dresses but in the same color.

The colors should preferably be pastel or neutral shades, such as powder pink, powder blue, or beige, or the "wedding theme" color. Hayari team suggest choosing the model based on one's body shape, thus dresses of different styles, in the same color or shade, and possibly the same fabric. "An alternative could be choosing a common detail among the dresses, like a belt, a bow, or a specific neckline; this creates a more cohesive look.

The finishing touches

Accessories play a major role in defining your overall look. Items like shoes and bags should seamlessly complement your outfit without becoming too much extravagant.  The key is to aim for a balanced, polished aesthetic rather than something too conspicuous. For a formal ceremony, precision is everything. While sky-high heels might seem glamorous, they can often feel impractical or even unsuitable for the gravity of the occasion. Similarly, a bag that is too bulky or footwear that leans too sporty can easily disrupt the elegance of a carefully curated ensemble. By opting for refined proportions and a coordinated color palette, you ensure that every detail works in harmony, reflecting a sophisticated sense of style that is both appropriate and effortless.

It is important to feel comfortable and confident with the chosen outfit, respecting the required dress code and maintaining a balance between elegance and sobriety, without ever being over the top, leaving space for the protagonists of the day.
